Don’t get cut up by the thoughts that you are not eligible because you don’t get involved in some community activities or some other extracurricular activities that some scholarship platform required before awarding scholarships to students. There are organisations,  governmental and non-governmental bodies, including individuals who offer scholarships to students as a form of charity and does not require any form of extracurricular or community service from the side of the student.

Some scholarships just require you to write a great essay and do not care if the get involved in any form of extra-curricular activities or Community Services or not

Scholarship Myth and Facts 3

If you merit scholarship like this, you will definitely be offered the scholarship, and the amount of money your parents makes would be put into consideration.

Though some scholarship platforms may be interested in offering scholarships to low-income families. It is also important that you understand what low-income means for each Scholarship platform.

A particular scholarship platform may consider $70,000 a year as a threshold, while others may consider $50,000 as a threshold.
